Resetting Your Password
If you have forgotten your Valid8 password or need to change it, you can reset it directly from the login screen. The reset can be completed through multi-factor authentication (MFA) or by receiving a reset link via email. Once you have set a new password, you can log in normally and your engagement view will be available immediately.
Before You Begin
Have the following ready before starting:
- Access to the email address associated with your Valid8 account
- Access to your MFA device (optional — email reset is also available)
Steps
- Open your browser and navigate to the Valid8 Financial login page.
- Click the Sign In option at the top of the window.
- From the sign-in list, select the instance you would like to sign into.
- Enter your username and click Next.
- Click the Reset Your Password
- Choose your reset method:
- MFA: Complete the multi-factor authentication steps to verify your identity and reset your password.
- Email: Choose to have a reset link sent to your email address. Check your inbox for the email and follow the instructions to set a new password.
- Once the reset is complete, return to the login screen, enter your username and new password, and log in. Your engagement view will appear.
Tips & Common Questions
- Two reset methods are available. Use MFA if you have your authentication device handy. Use the email option if you do not have MFA access.
- Check your spam folder. If the reset email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from Valid8 Support.
- If you are locked out entirely, contact your administrator. If neither reset method works, reach out to your Valid8 system administrator or Valid8 Support for assistance.
